Watch a video clip on Pst Cho’s Church at leader’s meeting last night. I was totally over-whelmed and touched when I watched the video.
I was amazed and over-whelmed by how God can use a man who started his church - Yoido Full Gospel Church with just 5 person and grow her into the world’s largest church with more than 700 pastors and 14,000 cg.
It is a church saturated with prayer. It is a church build on faith, love and service based on the Cross of Jesus Christ and the Bible. They have an early prayer meeting before service every Sunday
I was stunned with the ministries of the church as well which launched out to hospic care, medical with love to publication of own newspaper as well.
Through the video what I see is the love and ferverency towards God and the people which make them willing to go the extra mile for Christ winning souls and touching lives. Strong members and not just strong leaders and helpers only who are willing to run the vision of the Church. Their discipline lifestyle for prayer really inspired me to be a prayer warrior. It is really through prayer that God moves in our life. Most interestingly, the members I saw in the video are not make up of young adults like our church but elders - all the aunties and uncles in their 40s, 50s, 60s who nenver failed to give Bible study, atteng home cg, serve in ministry, attend over-night prayer meeting, pre-service prayer meeting, taking time off to the prayer mountain for a close prayer intimacy with God. It is really all about prayer!
Through the video, I am able to see a much bigger and greater picture of God’s work and not limit to what I see in our own church only.
Can you imagine with more than 700 Pastors, that is the make up of the number of cgl in CHC. With 14,000 cg in Yoido Full Gospel Church that make up to both the svc size of our English scv every week at Expo. Everything in Pst Cho’s church is a level higher than what our church had achieved.
I believe that if God can use a simple humbled man like Pst Cho and grow a Church that is so huge in Korea to minister to people, He will do the same for CHC too! A church to rock Asia by storm and changing and transforming lives!
God is truly a God without limit! I can see that in Pst Cho’s church.
Hence, is growing CHC into a church with more than 100,000, 200,000 or even 800,000 or more something impossible?
NO, it is possible as we serve a God who is almighty and without limit. Amen!
