To love and to be loved
Monday, August 13th, 2007When you believe in love, your heart is always feel with love.
When you are searching for love, you will wonder if it ever exists.
When you lost your love, you will never believe in love again.
This is how many of us will feel when we encounter different situation in life and how we determine love. It is part and parcel of lives that we will feel lonely, unloved, neglected, rejected, misunderstood etc… with all these does that means that we cant trust love? Are we to love only based on incidents, people and emotions?
I want to choose to believe in LOVE, the greatest gift of all. For Jesus had died for us and give us all the agape He had on us, why would I want to let lonliness, rejection, misunderstanding make my world colourless, sad and dull. God is colourful and of hope.
I believe in LOVE cos’ there will always be someone out there who will love me as who I am and accept me as who I am. God will sent them to me likewise He will send me to do the same to others as well.

It is when we learn to love others as who they are and to accept them with grace that we will learn to love and accept ourselves.
Matt 5:46 - 47
- For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
It is when we learn to love those that we find it hard to love, to forgive those who we do not want to forgive that we learn the true meaning of agape ~ the unconditional love.
Else what make us a salt and light in the world when we are just like the world, choosing to love who we want to love, love those who are easy to love, accept those who we want to accept and give to those we want to bless. We make a difference when we learn to embrace love, acceptance and grace on others, especially those who we find it hard to love.
I was once unlovable but God accept me and love me as who I am. I will then take His love and do it unto others too - to bless, to give, to go beyond expectations (ie to go that extra miles)
