What a week …

Thursday, November 16th, 2006

I keep falling sick for this week. First I got the flu bug on Sun, recover on Tues ..then I have fever and cough on Wed and I have not recover yet. Worst, I feel down 2 weeks ago, the wound is not healed but got worst and liquid keep flowing out from the it. I had no choice but to visit a doctor. So daily I will have to visit the clinic during my lunch time to let the doctor check my wound and change my dressing, As I am allergy to the cream, rashes develop around the wound too.. YUCKS!!!

Tomorrow I have to diligently go to the clinic again to let the nurse to change my dressing and wash my wound… :(
Yet I would like to thank God that despite of my weak body for this week, He still keep me and give me strength to go through my day at work… :)

Colourful

Thursday, November 16th, 2006

On Tues prayer meeting, God show me a vision, I saw a very beautiful green pasture. There are lots and lots of beautiful and colourful flowers and butterflies.

Maybe to many my life may be boring or no life, always work, church and family but God reminded me that that is not true. God is a colourful and creative God. He created the earth and add colours to it. My life may evolve around church, mininstry, bible study work, family and I don’t have much time for movies, TV programmes or shopping but it is never lack of fun and colour as long as I know my purpose. That is a sacrifice I choose to make to fullfill what God has for me. That is to impact and influence life.

So who say that my life is boring??

It is not at all because I know what I am doing is for a greater cause — GOD!

Flu Bug

Monday, November 13th, 2006

Ooopsss.. I caught a flu yesterday. Think I got it by sharing drinks with Cindy as she is down with a flu also.
I got an mc to rest at home..sleep and sleep and sleep…. I can be a sleeping beauty already :p

I got allergy as well … My eyes are swollen and they are as big as a goldfish’s eyes. Haiz… soooo ugly.
The surrounding of the eyes are sooooo red and swollen. They irches so badly as well and I have to refrain myself from rubbing.

No matter how, think it is a gd opportunity for me to stay at home… to slow down my pace, away from work, just to rest, sleep, pray, worship and think… :)

Everyday is a Blessing

Everyday is a blessing, a great gift from God.
I thank God that I have each new day to live and a new hope to look upon…:)

Rom 5:5 “Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in out hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us”

Season and time

Eccl 3:1-8
“To everthing there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven …”

I have a friend who is going through a time of wilderness, I hope he will come out of it and be more than a conqueror.

Life may not be a bed of roses and things may not always happen the way you want it to be, do not lose heart. Know your season. for there is a season to plough, a season to seed planting, a season of waiting & weeding, a season to harvest, a season to prune. Follow the way of the Lord and it will not be wrong

Ploughing is a time of preparation coming into another level of obedience. While planting seed is when you are obeying God, seeking god, doing what is right. There is always a right time and wrong time. Its always a good thing to know the season and do what is right though it can be hard to go through them.

May the hard time over your life be over and come the season of harvesting.
